1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using YatraPool's website or services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the service.

2. User Accounts

When you create an account with us, you must provide information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of your account on our Service.

3. Ride Sharing Rules

Drivers must ensure their vehicles are legally registered, insured, and safe for travel. Passengers must behave respectfully and pay the agreed amount. YatraPool acts solely as a platform to connect drivers and passengers and is not a party to any agreement between them.

4. Vehicle Eligibility & Commercial Permit Requirement

Any vehicle (car, bike, or otherwise) used to offer paid or cost-sharing rides through YatraPool must comply with all applicable transport laws and regulations in the jurisdiction where it is operated, including holding a valid commercial registration, taxi permit, or other authorization required for carrying passengers for consideration, where such authorization is legally required.

If you choose to use a privately registered car or bike to offer rides, you do so entirely at your own risk and are solely responsible for ensuring the vehicle is legally permitted to be used for this purpose. YatraPool does not verify vehicle permits, registration class, or insurance coverage, and is not responsible or liable for any fines, penalties, seizure, legal action, or other consequences arising from the use of a private, non-commercial, or improperly permitted vehicle on the platform.

5. Driver & Passenger Verification

YatraPool provides a platform for users to connect and does not conduct background checks, identity verification, or driving record checks on drivers or passengers. Before booking or accepting a ride, users are solely responsible for independently verifying the identity, driving license, vehicle documents, and other relevant details of the other party.

YatraPool is not responsible for the accuracy of any information provided by drivers or passengers, nor for any loss, injury, dispute, or damage arising from a user's decision to participate in a ride without conducting their own due diligence.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in any way that interrupts, damages, or impairs the service. You may not use the Service to transport illegal goods or substances.

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall YatraPool, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service. This includes, without limitation, any losses arising from the use of a private or improperly permitted vehicle, or from a user's failure to verify the identity or credentials of another user prior to a ride, as described in Sections 4 and 5 above.
